The information in this article applies to:
SYMPTOMSThe SQL Enterprise Manager Manage Replication\Subscriptions dialog box shows the status for an article subscribed with "No Sync required" as "sync'ed/Automatic."
STATUSMicrosoft has confirmed this to be a problem in Microsoft SQL Server versions 6.0 and 6.5. We are researching this problem and will post new information here in the Microsoft Knowledge Base as it becomes available.
MORE INFORMATIONEnterprise Manager displays the status of articles subscribed with "No Sync" as "Sync'ed/Auto." This does not imply that the sync task did the synchronization. This means that the synchronization is assumed to be complete and the distribution task can proceed with the jobs posted by the logreader process without waiting for any other event.
