The information in this article applies to:
SYMPTOMSIf a DB-Library browse mode client updates a row and the row has changed since the client selected the row, a handled exception of the client thread on the SQL Server can occur.
WORKAROUNDConvert the application to use normal locking or cursors.
STATUSMicrosoft has confirmed this to be a problem in Microsoft SQL Server version 6.5. This problem has been corrected in U.S. Service Pack 2 for Microsoft SQL Server version 6.5. For more information, contact your primary support provider.
