SYMPTOMSTrying to delete a table that contains 15 self-references can cause the system to return the following errors and warnings:

WORKAROUNDThe workaround for this problem is to avoid having more than 14 self- references on a table. Establish another table that can contain the additional required references.
STATUSMicrosoft has confirmed this to be a problem in Microsoft SQL Server version 6.5. This problem has been corrected in U.S. Service Pack 1 for Microsoft SQL Server version 6.5. For more information, contact your primary support provider.
MORE INFORMATIONThis problem is specific to 15 self-references and hence is extremely uncommon. NOTE: If a default debugger is set up, it will generate a debug log (like Dr. Watson log).
