BUG: Connection Error From SEM After Adding Code Page 950

SYMPTOMS

After you manually add the language code page 950 in Windows NT, the following error message may appear in SQL Enterprise Manager:

   A connection could not be established to SERVERNAME - This server has
   not installed version 6.5 or later of the Microsoft SQL-DMO [SQLOLE]
   stored procedure for its SQL Server version. The connection is denied.

STATUS

Microsoft has confirmed this to be a problem in Microsoft SQL Server version 6.5. We are researching this problem and will post new information here in the Microsoft Knowledge Base as it becomes available.
