INF: How to Use Connectable Objects in SQL-DMOLast reviewed: April 9, 1997Article ID: Q156434 |
The information in this article applies to:
SUMMARY The ConnectionPoint event establishes a two-way dialogue between an object and a client, and it allows you to write Component Object Model (COM) objects that are notified by OLE objects when certain events occur. SQL Server 6.5 includes several new and enhanced objects and events for SQL Distributed Management Objects (DMO). Four of the objects (SQLServer, Backup, Transfer, and BulkCopy) now support the ConnectionPoint event. This article demonstrates the usage of SQL-DMO object Backup and BackupSink objects in C++.
