The information in this article applies to:
SYMPTOMS New T-SQL tasks that have the same command line as another pre-existing task will fail to run if SQL Server is stopped and restarted while the SQL Executive service remains running.
WORKAROUNDStop and restart the SQL Executive service each time you restart the SQL Server service.
STATUSMicrosoft has confirmed this to be a problem in Microsoft SQL Server version 6.0. We are researching this problem and will post new information here in the Microsoft Knowledge Base as it becomes available.
MORE INFORMATIONThis problem does not occur in Microsoft SQL Server version 6.5.
