BUG: LOAD HEADERONLY from Tape Causes Unnamed Tape Message

SYMPTOMS

The LOAD HEADERONLY command causes the following error to occur in the SQL Server errorlog:

   kernel   Unnamed tape \\.\tape0 mounted on tape drive \\.\tape0

WORKAROUND

You can safely ignore this error message.

STATUS

Microsoft has confirmed this to be a problem in Microsoft SQL Server version 6.5. We are researching this problem and will post new information here in the Microsoft Knowledge Base as it becomes available.
