This article also assumes that you have Microsoft Visual SourceSafe installed. When you check out a query object, you may receive the following error message:
The Microsoft Jet database engine could not find the object <'Object'>. Make sure the object exists and that you spell its name and the path name correctly. CAUSEYou are trying to check out a query that conflicts with the name of a table. -or- You are trying to check out the "Data and Misc. Objects" file, and there is a table in it that conflicts with the name of a query.
RESOLUTIONMake sure that tables and queries do not share the same name.
