FIX: Large Buttons When Resetting Toolbar

SYMPTOMS

When you have Internet Explorer 4.0 Beta 2 or later installed, resetting the toolbar in Visual SourceSafe causes the toolbar buttons to increase in size.

STATUS

Microsoft has confirmed this to be a bug in the Microsoft products listed at the beginning of this article. This bug has been fixed in Visual Studio 97 Service Pack 3.

Steps to Reproduce Behavior

  1. Install Internet Explorer 4.0 Beta 2 or later.

  2. Start Visual SourceSafe.

  3. From the Tools menu, choose Customize Toolbar.

  4. Press the Reset button.
