If you want to specify a keystroke combination for a custom menu item that starts a macro, you can use the Chr function to right-align the text for the keystroke combination.

Visual Basic Procedure

The following procedure will add a custom menu item with a keystroke combination that is right-aligned:

   Caption:="Command1" & Chr(8) & "Ctrl+K", OnAction:="MenuShortCutKey"
   Application.Onkey "^k", "MenuShortCutKey"

       MsgBox "There is now a shortcutkey"
   End Sub
