SYMPTOMSIn Microsoft Excel, when you use the FileCopy statement in a Visual Basic for Applications macro, you may receive the following error message:
Run-time Error '70' Permission Denied CAUSEThis problem occurs if the source file you want to copy is open when you try to run the macro.
WORKAROUNDYou can avoid this problem by using the SaveCopyAs method. If you use the SaveCopyAs method, you can save a copy of the source workbook to a file without modifying the open workbook in memory.
