SYMPTOMSWhen you attempt to rename or copy a Visual Basic for Applications project module to a another document or template, you may receive one of the following error messages:
When you copy a module ---------------------- Microsoft Word Error 1844 The project item cannot be copied. When you rename a module ------------------------ Microsoft Word Error 1844 The project item cannot be renamed. CAUSEThese errors occur because a Visual Basic for Applications project module with the same name as the module you are attempting to copy or rename exists in the destination document or template.
