XL97: Additional Controls Dialog Box Disappears

SYMPTOMS

When you display the Additional Controls dialog box in the Microsoft Visual Basic Editor, the following problems may occur:

  • When you press ALT+TAB to switch to another program, Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Visual Basic Editor fail to appear in the window.

        -or-
    
  • When you switch to Microsoft Excel and then switch to the Visual Basic Editor, the Additional Controls dialog box disappears.

STATUS

Microsoft has confirmed this to be a problem in the Microsoft products listed at the beginning of this article. We are researching this problem and will post new information here in the Microsoft Knowledge Base as it becomes available.
