The following Visual Basic for Applications macro example uses a "For...Next" loop to extract the endnotes for a specified paragraph.
Sub ReturnNotesInParagraph() Dim iCount As Integer Dim oNote As Object Dim iParaNum As Integer ' Set the paragraph to return notes iParaNum = 1 ' Note: If the specified paragraph does not exist ' in the active document, an error will occur. If ActiveDocument.Paragraphs.Count >= iParaNum Then Set oNote = ActiveDocument.Paragraphs(iParaNum).Range.Endnotes For iCount = 1 To oNote.Count MsgBox oNote(iCount).Range.Text Next Else MsgBox "The specified paragraph does not exist." End If End Sub STATUSMicrosoft is researching this problem and will post new information here in the Microsoft Knowledge Base as it becomes available.
