SYMPTOMSWhen you attempt to obtain document properties from a template using the Visual Basic for Applications MacroContainer Object, the following error occurs:
Run-time error '483': Object doesn't support this property or method. CAUSEThis problem occurs if the template in which this macro is stored is included as a global add-in. Example: The following sample Visual Basic for Applications macro will run successfully if the template is first opened in Word. However, this same macro will produce the run-time error message if the template in which it is located is included as a global add-in:
