The information in this article applies to:
SYMPTOMSWhen you insert a worksheet into a workbook, the NewSheet event does not fire.
CAUSEThe NewSheet event will not fire if you have saved a default worksheet template (Sheet.xlt) in your Xlstart folder.
STATUSMicrosoft has confirmed this to be a problem in the Microsoft products listed at the beginning of this article. We are researching this problem and will post new information here in the Microsoft Knowledge Base as it becomes available.
