SYMPTOMSIf you click Tell Me More while you are in the Visual Basic Editor for Microsoft Office 98 Macintosh Edition, you may receive one of the following error messages:
Microsoft Help - Cannot open Help file. -or- Microsoft Excel cannot open the required Help file. Please run the installer application to restore any missing files. CAUSEThis problem occurs if the following conditions are true:
WORKAROUNDThe Tell Me More button works if you are not in the Visual Basic Editor. To view the Help file that is associated with the Tell Me More button, follow these steps:
STATUSMicrosoft has confirmed this to be a problem in the Microsoft products listed at the beginning of this article. We are researching this problem and will post new information here in the Microsoft Knowledge Base as it becomes available.
