If you run a Microsoft Visual Basic for Applications macro that displays a UserForm, the Visual Basic Editor may appear when the UserForm is displayed.

        -and-

  • You then run a macro that displays the UserForm.

Note that when you close the UserForm, the Visual Basic Editor disappears from the screen.

WORKAROUND

To prevent this problem from occurring, do either of the following:

  • Switch back to Microsoft Excel by clicking "Close and Return to Microsoft Excel" on the File menu.

        -or-

  • Before you switch back to Microsoft Excel, activate a window other than a UserForm window (for example, a module window or the project window).
