SYMPTOMS

Trying to change the value of the DataChanged property of a DBGrid's Column object generates the error 438:

   "Object does not support this property or method."

Steps to Reproduce Behavior

  1. Start Visual Basic 5.0. Form1 is created by default.

  2. Place a DBGrid on Form1.

  3. Place a CommandButton on Form1.

  4. Put the following code in the CommandButton's Click Method:

          DBgrid1.columns(1).datachanged = false
    

  5. Run the form and click the CommandButton.
