The information in this article applies to:
SYMPTOMSUsing an OLE container control bound to the Remote Data Control that ships with Visual Basic 5.0 Enterprise Edition could result in a memory leak. This problem does not occur when using an OLE container with a standard data control.
STATUSMicrosoft has confirmed this to be a bug in the Microsoft products listed at the beginning of this article. This bug has been corrected in the version of msrdc20.ocx included in Visual Studio 97 Service Pack 2.
