The information in this article applies to:

SYMPTOMSThe fill area defined by the InnerXXX properties of the Gauge custom control overwrites the bottom-most line of pixels in the top border as defined by the InnerTop property. This behavior occurs only with the vertical linear style gauge.
STATUSMicrosoft has confirmed this to be a bug in the Gauge custom control provided with the Microsoft products listed at the beginning of this article. We are researching this problem and will post new information here in the Microsoft Knowledge Base as it becomes available.

Steps to Reproduce Problem
Note: If you assign the Picture property to a bitmap and change the gauge's Value property to greater than 0, the bottom-most line of pixels in the top border will be redrawn in the Background color.
