SUMMARYThe following are the Microsoft Windows versions 3.0 and 3.1 API functions that are not wrapped by the Microsoft Foundation Classes (MFC) because they duplicate a language feature or a library routine.
Windows 3.0 and 3.1 API Equivalent Feature ----------------------- ------------------ _lclose CFile::Close _lcreat CFile::CFile CFile::Open _llseek CFile::Seek CFile::SeekToBegin CFile::SeekToEnd _lopen CFile::Open _lread CFile::Read _lwrite CFile::Write DefDlgProc Default member function DefFrameProc Default member function DefMDIChildProc Default member function DefWindowProc Default member function EnumProps Member data in derived class (1) GetClassInfo Member data in derived class GetClassLong Member data in derived class GetClassWord Member data in derived class GetProp Member data in derived class (1) GetWindowLong Member data in derived class GetWindowWord Member data in derived class RemoveProp Member data in derived class (1) SetClassLong Member data in derived class SetClassWord Member data in derived class SetProp Member data in derived class (1) SetWindowLong Member data in derived class SetWindowWord Member data in derived class(1) The property list mechanism is similar to member variables in that data is associated with an HWnd. However, member variables must be known at compile time, while a property list is maintained at run-time. A user can get similar functionality by using an MFC list object for this kind of member data.
