BUG: _VWIN32_WaitMultipleObjects Does Not Function Correctly

SYMPTOMS

_VWIN32_WaitMultipleObjects returns immediately without signaling any of the objects even though the flags were set to have it wait until the objects were signaled.

CAUSE

_VWIN32_WaitMultipleObjects does not correctly save certain registers before calling internal functions that use certain registers.

RESOLUTION

This problem only occurs on the original release of Windows 95. The OSR2 release of Windows 95 fixes this problem.

STATUS

Microsoft has confirmed this to be a bug in the Microsoft products listed at the beginning of this article. We are researching this bug and will post new information here in the Microsoft Knowledge Base as it becomes available.
