Under Windows NT, the "Country" choice affects currency, date/time and number format, and so forth. The "Language" choice affects sorting, names of the days of the weeks and months, and so forth. These settings allow the user to choose the appropriate language and country format. For example, if you are British and living in the U.S., you can pick a locale of English (British) at setup time, then use Control Panel later to change your country to U.S. so that currency is in dollars instead of pounds. In Windows 95, there is not both a Country and a Language choice. You are asked for a single Regional Setting.
