SYMPTOMSWhen using the Microsoft Windows Help Compiler (any version) to compile a .RTF file generated by Microsoft Word for Windows version 6.0, any double quotation marks (") in the text may not show up in the compiled help file.
CAUSEMicrosoft Word for Windows 6.0 automatically replaces double quotation marks with "smart quotes". RESOLUTION
MORE INFORMATIONIn addition, apostrophes ('), also known as single quotes, may not show up in the compiled help file. Follow the instructions above to replace the apostrophes as well.
