The Windows 95 RPC runtime libraries support a subset of the protocol sequences introduced in Microsoft RPC 1.0. Here is the list of supported protocol sequences:
Protocol Sequence Comments ----------------------------------------------------------------- ncacn_ip_tcp Requires TCP/IP installation ncacn_nb_nb NetBEUI is the only supported NetBIOS transport ncacn_np Support for client applications only ncacn_spx Requires IPX/SPX installation ncalrpc Local communication onlyRegarding ncacn_np: Windows 95 does not support server-side named pipes, so ncacn_np is not a valid protocol sequence for RPC servers running on Windows 95. However, ncacn_np is valid for RPC client applications.
