PRB: RichEdit Control Hides Mouse Pointer (Cursor)Last reviewed: September 29, 1995Article ID: Q131381 |
The information in this article applies to:
SYMPTOMSWhen the mouse pointer (cursor) is over a RichEdit control and the user starts typing in the control, the RichEdit control hides the pointer.
CAUSEWhen the user is typing in a RichEdit control, the control automatically hides the mouse pointer if it is is over the control. The control does this intentionally so the cursor does not obscure the text in the control. When the mouse is moved again, the pointer re-appears.
STATUSThis behavior is by design.
