The information in this article applies to:
SUMMARYIn Windows NT, the size of the input and output buffers for the SetupComm() function must be specified in even numbers of bytes. The API returns error 13 (ERROR_INVALID_DATA) if this condition is not met. This applies to both Windows NT versions 3.51 and 4.0. In Windows 95, there are no problems associated with the use of odd numbers.
