BUG: MMC: SnapIn Extension Can't Add Property Page

Microsoft Management Console, version 1.0

SYMPTOMS

Extension SnapIns cannot add property pages if the primary SnapIn has not implemented at least one property page.

CAUSE

This functionality is not supported in version 1.0 of the Microsoft Management Console.

RESOLUTION

There is no workaround at the present time.

STATUS

Microsoft has confirmed this to be a bug in the Microsoft products listed at the beginning of this article. We are researching this bug and will post new information here in the Microsoft Knowledge Base as it becomes available.
