Using a Mouse with MEP Under Windows NTLast reviewed: November 2, 1995Article ID: Q83300 |
The information in this article applies to:
The Microsoft Editor (MEP) included with the Win32 Software Development Kit (SDK) can be used with a mouse to position the cursor. By default, the mouse is not enabled for MEP. It is necessary to add the switch "usemouse:yes" (without the quotation marks) to the TOOLS.INI file under the [m mep] section. The TOOLS.INI file is a text file editable by MEP or Notepad. To change the position of the cursor, first position the mouse pointer on the new location and then click the left mouse button.
