SUMMARY

MORE INFORMATION

To do so:

  1. From the Main group, run Windows Setup.

  2. From the Options menu, choose Change Network Settings, and then choose the Networks button.

  3. Note the current selections in this dialog box, and then choose "No Windows support for networks." Choose the OK button three times, then choose the Continue button.

  4. From the Options menu, choose Change Network Settings, and then choose the Networks button.

  5. Choose Install Microsoft Windows Network (or use the settings you noted in step 4) and then choose OK.

  6. Configure your Network Settings in the Network Setup dialog box and then choose OK.

NOTE: If you previously chose to share your files or printers with others, you must choose the Sharing button and reset these options to enable sharing.

  7. Configure Windows for Workgroups for your network card and then choose OK. If you don't know what card to select, choose the Detect button.

  8. Ensure the User Name, Workgroup, and Computer Name are correct and then choose OK.

  9. Choose No until Windows Setup indicates your AUTOEXEC.BAT, SYSTEM.INI, and PROTOCOL.INI files have been updated, then choose OK.

  10. Choose Restart Computer.
