SUMMARY

The Microsoft Windows Calendar displays the following error message if you exceed the maximum number of day appointments that Calendar can accept. Calendar can accept a maximum of 429 day appointments.

   Cannot add another date to Calendar; Remove one or more dates
   if this one is necessary

MORE INFORMATION

To correct the problem, either create a new Calendar file or delete some day appointments by removing all entries from a range of appointment days, as follows:

  1. From the Edit menu, choose Remove.

  2. Type the first date in the From text box.

  3. Type the last date in the To text box.

  4. Choose the OK button.

NOTE: To remove entries from one appointment day, leave the To box blank.
