WordPerfect 5.1 provides mouse support for the Microsoft Mouse. To use a mouse with WordPerfect 5.1, you must have the mouse driver (MOUSE.COM or MOUSE.SYS) loaded before starting WordPerfect. To retain mouse functionality in WordPerfect while operating under Windows 3.00 in 386 enhanced mode, select Mouse Driver (MOUSE.COM) as the mouse type from the WordPerfect Online Setup.

MORE INFORMATION

WordPerfect 5.1 has an online configuration setup feature that allows you to reconfigure the program's current default settings.

To change the mouse type for WordPerfect 5.1, do the following:

  1. From a document within WordPerfect, press SHIFT+F1.

  2. Choose 1 for Mouse.

  3. Choose 1 for Type.

  4. Select Mouse Driver (MOUSE.COM) from the Mouse Type list.

  5. Press ENTER until you return to the document.

NOTE: The mouse will not be operational in WordPerfect unless the WordPerfect window display options are set to full screen.
