The information in this article applies to:
SYMPTOMSWhen you run the Microsoft Windows Setup program on an IBM PS/2 Model 70, Setup may detect the keyboard as an 84-key keyboard, even though it is a 101-key keyboard. NOTE: This problem also affects the Wang PC 280, the NCR PC 925, and some Wyse 286 and 386 computers.
CAUSEThis is a problem with older IBM PS/2 Model 70 keyboard BIOS.
RESOLUTIONTo resolve the problem, choose the 101-key keyboard as the keyboard type during Setup.
