Pentax IQ Scanner Does Not Run in Windows 3.0 Enhanced Mode

SYMPTOMS

When you try to run the Pentax IQ Scanner in Microsoft Windows version 3.0 enhanced mode, you receive the following error message:

   In zone definition height too large.

CAUSE

According to Pentax technical support, the Pentax IQ Scanner does not run in Windows 3.0 enhanced mode. Pentax tested the scanner successfully in both standard and real mode.

WORKAROUND

Run Windows in either standard or real mode when you use the Pentax IQ Scanner
