SUMMARY

According to Quicken technical support, Quicken 5.0 comes with a PIF file that must be modified to allow the program to run properly with Microsoft Windows 386 enhanced mode.

Modify the PIF file as follows:

  1. Edit the PIF file to specify the correct startup directory.

  2. Clear the Background Execution check box because Quicken 5.0 will not run in the background.
