Wrong Port Name in Windows 3.1 Getting Started Guide

SUMMARY

There is a documentation error in the "Getting Started with Microsoft Windows" guide included with Windows 3.1. The error is on page 77 under the following heading:

   If you still cannot print, step through the following checklist:

The last bulleted item in the checklist recommends printing to the LPT1.OS2 port instead of to the LPT1 port.

This section is correct if you have upgraded over Windows version 3.0. If Windows 3.1 is installed to a clean directory without upgrading over Windows 3.0, the port name will be LPT1.DOS instead of LPT1.OS2.
