Summa Graphics Tablet May Require Upgrade for Windows

SUMMARY

According to Summa Graphics technical support, you may receive general protection (GP) faults if you are using Summa Graphics digitizing tablet driver version 1.0 with Microsoft Windows operating system version 3.1.

The following are the steps to determine if the problem is with the Summa driver or not:

  1. Remark out any Summa drivers from the CONFIG.SYS and AUTOEXEC.BAT files.

  2. Change to the WINDOWS directory and type:

          setup
    

  3. Highlight the Mouse option and press ENTER.

  4. From the list of available mice, choose No Mouse or Other Pointing Device.

  5. Press the ENTER key twice to install the No Mouse or Other Pointing Device driver.
