The information in this article applies to:
SYMPTOMSIf you receive a general protection (GP) fault in Windows for Workgroups Mail, neither Mail nor Schedule+ will prompt you for a password until Windows for Workgroups is restarted. This does not apply to Microsoft Mail version 3.0 or Schedule+ version 1.0.
STATUSMicrosoft has confirmed this to be a problem in Windows for Workgroups version 3.1 and version 3.11. We are researching this problem and will post new information here as it becomes available.
MORE INFORMATIONYou can reproduce the problem by adding a custom command that calls an inappropriate dynamically linked library (.DLL) in the MSMAIL.INI file in Mail for Workgroups.
