SYMPTOMS

Choosing the Connect button from the Printers option in Control Panel replaces all non-default driver settings when you use the HPPCL.DRV printer driver in conjunction with version 3.1 of UNIDRV.DLL.

RESOLUTION

This problem has been solved in version 3.1.2 of UNIDRV.DLL, which can be obtained, along with an updated HPPCL.DRV, from the Microsoft Download Service (MSDL).
