CAUSEMouse operations are exclusive to the application running in the window.
RESOLUTIONIf you want to control the window features of an MS-DOS-based application, do not enable the Exclusive Mode option for the application's mouse settings.
STATUSThis behavior is by design.
MORE INFORMATIONWhen you enable the mouse's Exclusive Mode option for an MS-DOS-based application, you can interact with the application's window only by using the keyboard, and the window controls (such as the toolbar and the Minimize, Maximize, and Restore buttons) are not available.
