Restart Causes Windows 95 to Hang with Micron Motherboard

SYMPTOMS

When you restart your computer, Windows 95 may stop responding (hang).

CAUSE

This problem can occur if your computer has a Micron Technology mother- board with a Phoenix ROM BIOS version 4.04M54PI-N14P.

RESOLUTION

To correct this problem, Micron recommends that you upgrade the ROM BIOS to revision 19. You can obtain the ROM BIOS flash upgrade from Micron, or from Micron's Web site at:

   http://www.mei.micron.com
