The information in this article applies to:
SYMPTOMSWhen you try to view a shared Fonts folder on another computer, you see the fonts in the local Fonts folder.
CAUSEThe Fonts folder contains a Desktop.ini file. Viewing a shared Fonts folder displays the contents of the local Fonts folder.
RESOLUTIONTo view the contents of a shared Fonts folder, go to the shared computer and make a copy of the Fonts folder and share it instead. You can view the contents of this folder.
STATUSMicrosoft is researching this problem and will post new information here in the Microsoft Knowledge Base as it becomes available.
