SYMPTOMSWhen you use the XCOPY32 command to copy files, you are not prompted before it overwrites files that are already present.
CAUSEThe XCOPY32 command is not designed to prompt you before overwriting existing files. NOTE: Xcopy32.exe is an internal helper program that is not designed to be run directly from the command line. It is designed only to be run as a helper by the main Xcopy.exe program.
RESOLUTIONDo not run the Xcopy32.exe program directly. Instead, use one of the following methods:
