The information in this article applies to:
SYMPTOMSWhen you compress a drive, some compressed files may have a length of zero bytes.
CAUSEThis behavior can occur with files that are not accessible during the compression operation.
RESOLUTIONThe original files are still located on the host drive. You can copy these files to the compressed drive.
STATUSMicrosoft is researching this problem and will post new information here in the Microsoft Knowledge Base as it becomes available.
