SYMPTOMSWhen you start your computer, you may receive the following message:
Your computer is configured to start with the FilterKeys feature turned on. With this feature, the keyboard repeat rates, acceptance rate and bounce rates are set for users with disabilities.The computer may appear to stop responding (hang).
CAUSEWhen the FilterKeys feature is enabled, this warning message is always displayed. If you have the SlowKeys feature enabled, keyboard input acceptance is delayed and it may appear that keystrokes are not being accepted.
RESOLUTIONTo disable the FilterKeys option, use either of the following methods:
