SYMPTOMSWhen you are using the Microsoft Client for NetWare Networks, you may receive the following error message when you try to capture the LPT4 port in the properties for your printer:
The following error occurred while trying to connect LPT4: to \\<server>\<printer> Device name is out of range allowed. CAUSEThe Microsoft Client for NetWare Networks is limited to three NetWare printer redirections. This same limitation exists with the Novell NETX client, but does not exist with the Novell VLM client.
RESOLUTIONTo work around this problem, use one of the following methods:
