SYMPTOMSIf you use different passwords for Windows 95 and Microsoft Windows NT, attempting to change a password may result in your not having the option to change the Windows 95 password and an error message when you try to change the Windows NT password. When you restart your computer, the Windows NT password is changed, even though you received an error message when you tried to change it. The error message you may receive is:
The password you typed for Microsoft Networking is not correct. Please type the old password. CAUSEThis behavior occurs when the Disable Password Caching policy has been set, or if the Windows 95 and Windows NT passwords are different.
