SUMMARYThe Telnet tool included with Microsoft Windows 95 maintains a most- recently-used (MRU) list of host names entered in the Remote System/Host Name box. You can use the MRU list to easily select commonly accessed Telnet locations. This article describes how to clear the MRU list.

WARNING: Using Registry Editor incorrectly can cause serious problems that may require you to reinstall Windows 95. Microsoft cannot guarantee that problems resulting from the incorrect use of Registry Editor can be solved. Use Registry Editor at your own risk. To clear the Telnet MRU list, delete the following values from the
HKEY_USERS\.Default\Software\Microsoft\Telnetregistry key
Machine<X> LastMachine LastTermType LastService Service<X> TermType<X>where <X> is any number from 1 to 8.
