SYMPTOMSWhen you use the right mouse button to click the root object in Windows Explorer, a context menu is not displayed. However, a context menu is available for all other objects in Windows Explorer.
WORKAROUNDTo work around this behavior, change the root object for Windows Explorer by adding the /root, <object> parameter to the Windows Explorer command line. Set the root object so that the object for which you want a context menu is no longer the root object. NOTE: Desktop is the default root object in Windows Explorer. To view a context menu for Desktop, use the right mouse button to click the Desktop folder in the folder where Windows 95 is installed on your computer.
STATUSThis behavior is by design.
